The City of Rahway is offering an array of family friendly Halloween festivities this year for all ages!

Starting on Thursday, October 20th, Rahway Seniors can attend the annual Senior Halloween Party at 12:00pm at the Rahway Recreation Center. Tickets are available for $3 at the Rahway Senior Center, 1306 Esterbrook Ave, until October 11th and then ticket prices increase to $8 after.  The party will include music, lunch, and door prizes.  Costumes are optional.  For more information please call 732-827-2016.

Then on Friday October 21st from 6:00pm - 8:30pm, in collaboration with the Union County Board of County Commissioners, the city of Rahway invites union county residents with disabilities and special needs ages 16 and older to enjoy the 2022 Halloween Bash - a dance party with games, activities, haunted rooms, costume contests, and arts and crafts projects.  The Halloween Bash is a drop-off respite program at the Rahway Recreation Center, though parents and guardians are welcome to stay.  

Last but not least, the Halloween Parade and Spooktacular return to Rahway on Saturday October 29th.  Residents are encouraged to dress up and meet at the Hamilton Stage parking lot, 360 Hamilton Street, for the parade departure at 3:00pm.  The parade will continue down Irving Street stopping at the Train Station Plaza where the Spooktacular festivities will continue until 6:00pm.  The Spooktacular will feature carnival style games, stilt walkers, face painters, Halloween music, goody bags, strolling characters, and prizes for best costumes.
