FEMA Flood Maps

Rahway property owners looking to determine if their property is located in a flood zone can now go online thanks to the popular computer application Google Earth and Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) National Flood Hazard Layer Web Map Service (WMS).

While paper maps can still be purchased from FEMA's website, the new Google Earth-based layer is available free of charge and works with a variety of operating systems and web browsers. View Google Earth and the FEMA WMS (including instructions).

Property owners seeking additional information and/or written clarification on flood locations in the City should contact the Department of Public Works and Engineering at 732-827-2060 to obtain the necessary form. There is a $15 fee for this service.
