Please be advised that Elizabethtown Gas will be performing significant upgrades to the gas system on Main Street and E. Milton Ave.
This is a utility company project. The City of Rahway is providing this notice to keep residents informed of pending and ongoing construction activity. Gas main work is scheduled to begin on or about March 1, weather permitting. Work is scheduled for Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Significant detours and vehicular traffic delays are expected while construction is ongoing. During construction hours, sidewalks will remain open to pedestrians.
The contractor will coordinate with the Rahway Police Department regarding traffic safety. Please adhere to posted detour signage and police traffic directors.
