City of Rahway's Annual Independence Day Celebration Set to Light Up the Night Sky on Monday, July 3 at Rahway River Park

Rahway, New Jersey - Mayor Raymond A. Giacobbe and the Rahway City Council are excited to announce the City of Rahway's annual Independence Day Celebration, taking place from 6:00-9:00 PM on Monday, July 3rd at the quadrangle section of Rahway River Park. This highly anticipated event promises a great evening of fun for the whole community as we celebrate our nation's freedom.The festivities will kick off at 6:00 PM with fun and excitement for all ages. The event will feature carnival-style games, face painters, lawn games, food trucks, stilt walkers, and giveaways, perfect for the whole family. Guests can expect the grand finale, a spectacular fireworks display, to light up the night sky in Rahway around 9:00 PM to conclude the event.“Rahway’s Annual Independence Day Celebration is an unforgettable community event that draws friends and families to Rahway River Park as we celebrate the birth of our nation with a variety of activities and an incredible fireworks display. As a City with strong ties to the American Revolutionary War, Independence Day holds a special place in our community,” said Mayor Giacobbe.Entrances and exits to Rahway River Park will be restricted for the fireworks display and it is recommended that guests walk into the park rather than drive.In the event of inclement weather, the Independence Day Celebration will be rescheduled for Wednesday, July 5.
